Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved words. Growing up, I even started a couple quote-on-quote newspapers, including the Davis Gazette —
a short-lived publication for my family that I made with printer paper and Crayola markers.

Eventually I went to college for journalism and English, helping establish myself as a "real" writer. After graduating and working for a few years as a writer at the fundraising arm of that same university, I decided to take a leap of faith and become a full-time freelance writer.

I'm passionate about writing and making each and every story captivating.

And I'd love to help you tell yours.

The highlight reel

My passion for writing caught fire in elementary school.
I’m a great listener, which in turn makes me a better writer.
My happy place is on my back deck with a cup of coffee, a good book in hand and my husband, little guy and pup nearby.
When I need to reset, I love to cook (somewhat poorly), read (mostly feel-goods), soak up the outdoors (unless there are wasps nearby) and experience life as a new mom (even if I've only gotten a few hours of sleep).
